At our workshop in Kidlington, Oxfordshire we use only the very highest quality materials, the timber is sourced by our suppliers and is environmentally responsible.
All timber comes from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified suppliers. We only buy from companies that are FSC certified. FSC helps take care of forests and the people and wildlife who call them home and is recognised by WWF as the “hallmark of responsible forest management”. FSC works to improve forest management worldwide, and through certification creates an incentive for forest owners and managers to follow best social and environmental practices.
Modern and traditional windows
From a listed building to a modern eco house we can design and build beautiful handcrafted windows to suit any requirement.
For all our windows we can offer a choice of glazing options to achieve the standard of energy efficiency that customers require. Single glazing can also be used to maintain the traditional appearance of the property. Whether a replica of an existing window or a new feature window for an extension, all windows carry a C E mark and a U- value certificate. C E marking became a legal requirement in July 2013 on external joinery items. Our windows can also be fitted with traditional or contemporary ironmongery, incorporating Secure By Design locking systems.
Timber casement windows are the oldest and most common type of window across the UK. Our timber windows are designed with energy efficiency and security in mind, using only high-performance double-glazed units, draught excluders and multi-point locking systems. We are able to incorporate the latest modern technologies into our work to ensure our external joinery is energy efficient, durable and sustainable. This guarantees that every window is not only beautiful but long lasting with the lowest maintenance possible
Sash windows are often found in Georgian and Victorian houses, often making a grand impact on the exterior as well as the interior of the property. Every sash window we produce is effortless to open and close and uses the latest in technology to ensure they are energy efficient. A traditional box sash window uses weights and cords to counter balance the weight of the glazed panels. The weights themselves are concealed within the window frame.
Internal and external doors made to last
From a listed building to a modern eco house we can design and build beautiful handcrafted doors to suit any home, commercial property or college.
Whether you’re looking for traditional ledged and boarded doors or moulded panelled doors, we can provide you with high quality, durable products. Door frames can also be designed to match your handcrafted door.
All our doors and frames can be produced in a wide variety of timbers including Oak, Sapele, Iroko, to name just a few, and can be specific to your individual requirements. Glazing, whether clear or obsure, can be added to any door if required and a secure by design locking system can be fitted to ensure your home is both efficient and secure.
Whether stable doors, bi-fold doors, bespoke interior doors or a contemporary thermally efficient front door, we provide you with a service that is second to none.
